Google will be retiring Reader July 1st 2013. So it will be a good idea to backup/export your feeds before its shutdown. You can use Google Takeout to download a backup of your stuff.
I’ve been playing with a few of them and none quiet feel the same. So far my favorite alternative I’ve found is The Old Reader. Though its currently in beta and getting hammered as everyone is find a few alternative it looks very promising! Below I’ve listed some alternatives for you to look into and find one that suits you better.

NewsBlur
NewsBlur is free on the web, iPad, iPhone, and Android. By subscribing to a premium account, you support a growing service and unlock a few restrictions.
Its free up to 12 feeds and can only view 10 at a time. By subscribing and paying $24/year you get unlimited feeds and and stories.
Feedly
Feedly is the best alternative to Google Reader. You has a similar layout and have the same core features like feed categorization, saving articles for later (staring) and sharing.
